After upgrading, refresh the page for true results. (Repeatit products tested & supported on Google Chrome browsers.)

If you are using SyncMaster, it has to be upgraded to the latest release too when the Trinity will be upgraded to the new software.

We engineer our firmware updates to work across all Trinity 800 series platforms.

Both Master and client needs to be upgraded, version 2.x.x.x is not compatible with 1.x.x.x

Trinity 200 & 300 Series

Important Information

This version of Trinity is not compatible with the old Trinity version, both units in a link must be upgraded.

This image is valid for both 200-Series and 300 Series of Trinity.


NOTE: Always start the upgrade with the remote node.


NOTE: A bug as been found in late versions of software, it relates to the alignment buzzer. If buzzer is enabled and this is also saved to the flash the unit might end-up in a endless reboot cycle.  Alignment buzzer can still be used but the setting to enabled should not be saved to the flash. A fix is currently under test and new release with a fix will be scheduled for 12 January 2015.


NOTE! Due to a memory leak in all versions before of Trinity software it is recommended to perform a reboot of the units before upgrading. Not doing this can cause a failure in the upgrade procedure.

Version (2017-02-15)
  • Resolved a problem with internal communication in unit, could cause status page to be empty.
  • Fixed a problem in MultiFlex mode, borrow of timeslots was not evenly distributed between clients when configured with few fix slots and many borrow slots.
  • Fixed a problem in communication with cloud server, unneeded data was sent to cloud.
  • Fixed a problem when changing LinkID, change did not take effect directly.

  • Resolves a problem when using dynamic time-slot assignment in MultiFlex mode. Caused the time-slots not to be divided equal between clients.

Version (2016-09-26)
  • Resolved a problem in MultiFlex mode where the modulation used by the Master against one or more clients got stucked at the lowest allowed modulation.
Version (2016-09-22)
  • Corrected a problem where links could have more retransmissions than necessary. Problem was caused by a low margin in the timing of acknowledgement.
Version (2016-08-25)
  • Corrected a problem reported in where the Status page after a variable time showed up blank. Problem caused by a data struct defined to small for the amount of clients. Depending on the amount of traffic the time before the problem showed up was variable. Increased traffic increased the size demand and eventually the data struct was to small.

  • Resolved issue with rebooting units:
  • Two independent sources has reported that using UK 5.8 country code could make a master unit go into a continuously reboot cycle. We have been able to reproduce the problem and it happens only on Master units and it only happens after a reboot. This means that after changing to UK 5.8 the unit will work if only Apply has been used. But if unit is rebooted it will start rebooting.
  • A fix is currently tested and new version will come out soon.
  • If you have a link running on or earlier make sure you do not use UK 5.8, reconfigure it to use another frequency band.
    Solved a bug created in related to getting more information about retries.


  • Treat Multicast traffic as unicast traffic, improves capacity of multicast traffic.
  • Added internal possibility to get more info about retransmissions.


  • Resolved 2014-02-06 We have had one report that during high full duplex load of the link the link can go down. If high load is on when link tries to go up again it can cause a reboot of one of the units.
  • Workaround: Disable the high load, this will make the link come up again without possible reboot.
  • Solution: Possible cause has been identified, correction is implemented and currently under test. New beta is scheduled for 2014-02-07.
  • Changed name from Slave to Client in all text presented in webinterface of unit.
  • Small performance improvements that do not affect stability.

Bugs, Issues & Limitations
Known issues and Limitations in Current Version (
  • Assymetrical bandwidth is limited to 75/25.
  • When Changing the LinkId on a Client client will still connect to the old LinkID. If a Client shall be moved to another LinkID change the LinkID and let it come back online. Save the settings and reboot the Client.
Limitations in Current Version (
  • Assymetrical bandwidth is limited to 75/25. 80/20 is scheduled for release
  • Autodistance feature is not implemented, scheduled for release

Reported Issues (Not Bugs)
  • 2014-02-07 After an upgrade the statistics is not shown correctly in the web-interface. Excessive retries are showing total packets transmitted.
    This is not a bug, a couple java-scripts that are used in the web-interface has been updated and the web browser that is used does not refresh the cache it keeps using the old scripts.Solution, force the web browser to reload cache.
